These 1,557 students were among the 1.7% selected from over 91,000 applicants from across the country to continue through our selection process based on their academic excellence, leadership , and service demonstrated in school and community. About 150 high school students are awarded.

Out of over 103,800 applicants nationwide, these students represent the top 1.45% with their commitment to academic excellence, leadership, and service. This interview round basically narrows down those 250 finalists to 150 final scholars.
